I’ve been drawing since I was tiny, like most. My most powerful memory toward drawing was in 5th grade. I knew I was good at it, that I liked it more than anything else, and I wanted to keep doing it. So, seriously drawing? Since probably 5th grade, or whenever the hell Sailor Moon came to the US.
And I’m preeeetty sure this is all digital work. Some older stuff might be traditional, and there are a few photos of an oil painting I started.

Can you give us (me) some advice about starting with digital art?

Think of digital painting the same as you would traditional. There’s really no secret trick…it’s just another medium, like oil paint or acrylic or pencils or whatever. It’s forgiving, but still very hard to have complete control of. You have to make sure you’re not letting yourself get TOO detailed to the point of wasting time…because zoom is a very wonderful, and terrible capability.
Look at artists you like, watch videos if you must, but make sure your learning experience is very solitary and intimate. Don’t let others define what “digital art” is or how you should do it.
